Wear It Well Inc. is a nonprofit 501(c)3 organization that is dedicated to providing dignity, hope and self confidence to those facing cancer and other life altering events through educational programs. Extreme Makeover is a community-based program that provides individualized makeovers for people with cancer - to help them cope with the aftermath of cancer treatments, and how it affects their appearance and self-esteem.
It was an honor to be chosen as the hair stylist for the Wear It Well’s Extreme Makeover for Charlotte. I chose one of the wigs from @in_vogue_medical_wigs_beyond “my first wig” collection. This is the 14” Shannon unit that I custom colored and cut. Everyone was so caring and genuinely excited about this makeover. I’m so glad that I’m able to walk in my calling as a medical wig specialist. My goal is to help other women with cancer who may be experiencing hair loss to receive a unit via insurance or charitable giving. We need you all to donate to this beautiful cause.

Extreme Makeover: Charlotte Polk
Charlotte was diagnosed with breast cancer on Oct 31, 2019. Her family was devastated. Her sister Kelly says she is the most precious and sweetest spirit ever! We couldn’t agree more!! She also is very positive which is why Kelly thinks she had such positive results!
As Charlotte would say, “Live a beautiful life that will be received by your own.”
Charlotte Polk, you Wear It Well!!
